Winter - A Time for Creativity

Taking nature photos during the winter months can be challenging. There was no snow this year, only a short-lived ice storm. There is no wildlife to speak of, and everything looks dead. So, instead of giving up, it is an excellent time to think creatively and play with black and white and muted colors.

Are some of the black-and-whites a little heavy-handed? Still fun to experiment with.

But some things are still better in color…
