A Quick Afternoon in Grapevine, TX

On a return trip from out of town, my wife and I stopped in Grapevine, TX for lunch and a quick walk around the historic downtown/Cotton Belt Railroad Historic District. The area is full of restaurants, a farmer’s market, the kind of shops one would expect in historic downtowns, and maybe a few you wouldn’t. Our short visit was cut even shorter by an unfortunate restaurant mishap in which an entire glass of sweat tea was emptied on my lap, but I wouldn’t mind coming back again and maybe even taking a trip on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. Below are some photos taken before lunch, as I had no opportunity to take any afterward.
