Directionally Challenged

I’m not above admitting that I’m “directionally challenged,” and to compensate for my condition, I may rely on Google Maps a little too much to get around. As helpful as Google Maps is, I have a love/hate relationship with it. Recently, I added a stop to the auto-calculated route, which is not something I usually do. My expectation was that once I reached my stop, Google Maps would automatically start providing directions for the next leg of my journey. It didn’t.

Long story short, while trying to get back on course, I found myself staring at the gem of an abandoned building you see above; the brilliant colors catching my eye. While not entirely sure what it used to be, I feel like it should have been, and most likely was, a Mexican restaurant. Being surrounded by no less than 3 Llaw offices, and 3 land/title companies, I could be wrong.

However, there is this restaurant directly across the square.

Admittedly, this one does look a lot more fun.

Welcome to the central plains of Texas.
